Make your own enchilada sauce in just 10 minutes

This is a yummy recipe, but you may need to tweek it a little for your own taste.

1/4 cup vegtable oil
2 Tbsp. flour
1/4 cup or less chili powder

First heat oil, then stir in your flour and chili powder. Cook on medium heat until lightly browning being careful not to burn the flour.

1-8oz. can of tomato sauce 
1 1/2 cups water
1/2 tsp of ground cumin
1/4 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp onion powder
(adjust spices to taste)

Gradual stir in your remaining ingredients into your flour mixture and stir until it is smooth. Cook on medium heat for 10 minutes or until just thickened. Now you have the perfect sauce to start your yummy mexican creations.
